Matt Varga Updated April 24th, 2025: In typical fashion, Corteiz will be running back their “hide and seek” style shock drop, last seen with their Trainer Huarache collection, for the Nike Air Max 95 “Honey Black.” Announced with a promo showcasing a schoolbus retrofitted to the shoe’s color palette, the brand will announce where the bus will be on Saturday, April 24th before the earnest release at 11 AM EST. After the Corteiz Nike Air Max 95 “Honey Blacks” rushed back to the forefront of the sneaker news cycle, the brand has started the official rollout for the shoe. While a concrete date hasn’t surfaced just yet, email sign-ups are available HERE; the password is 419sentme. More set-in-stone purchase info will almost assuredly be distributed through those means.
While sign-up pages listed on March 24th indicate the initial release may come before this window, a wider Nike / SNKRS release is still expected for April. Retail is set at $190.
After their inaugural trio of Air Max 95 releases took the world by storm and helped them accomplish their motto as one of Nike’s fastest rising collaborators, early reports of the Corteiz Air Max 95 “Honey Blacks” broke towards the top of 2024, adding a fourth leg to the modern classic capsule. Though overall delays and a brief dalliance with the Air Trainer Huarache in Holiday 2024 puts some distance between this shoe’s arrival and the original three-pack, nonetheless this 2025 variation maintains much of the appeal of the first steps.
Most importantly, the distinct composition of the shoe, with diamond knit mesh on the top layer and a dose of leather throughout the rest of the real estate, remains intact. Co-branding hits at the heel counter and toe reinforce the collaborative air, while the pull-closure laces lean into the utilitarian bend of the new materials. Lastly, the “Honey Blacks” break from previous Air Max 95 in ditching the camouflage interiors of its three older siblings, instead copping a glossy solid black sockliner.
