The New Balance 1000 “Castlerock” Is Only Available At JD Sports

Grey colorways will always work for New Balance, especially on models that have that “dad shoe” vibe to ’em. As a bit of an appetizer to this year’s round of “Grey Day” releases in May, the Boston brand has shipped off a JD Sports exclusive “Castlerock” New Balance 1000.

The titular “Castlerock” color appears on the mesh base and midsole, overlaid by light grey and metallic silver leather panels. Crystallized New Balance logos come in silver with grey borders, complemented by a smattering of hidden reflective touches on the eyelets.

The retailer-exclusive “Castlerock” colorway continues a run of strong looks for the New Balance 1000, including compelling GRs and collaborations with CNCPTS, Thisisneverthat, and Bricks & Wood.

These are available now via JD Sports in Australia, meaning global availability should follow shortly. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming New Balance.
