Yuto Horigome Reveals Possible Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” Sample

The Japanese Olympian teases another edition.

Yuto Horigome Reveals Possible Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” Sample

It’s certainly still early, but judging off of public reaction and anticipation, the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” is the clubhouse leader for the biggest skate shoe of the year. As we stare down the shoe’s earnest release, is it possible that the Japanese phenom just added more intrigue to the drop? In taking an early victory lap, sharing images beset on all side by the viridescent colorway, he may have just let loose an unreleased sample.

It’s the middle shoe in the very back of the shot that draws our attention, sporting a black and green flip of the arrangement we’re familiar with. The same “Matcha” tonality being present at the quarter and toe-box likely places this in the same lineage of the upcoming public pair, but whether it’s a sample that was left on the cutting room floor or a potential friends and family edition is wholly unclear. At least in these initial shots, there’s a clear resemblance to the “Loden” Nike SB Dunk from the model’s original run. Though the additional four shoes flanking this dusky edition carry some slight differences from afar, without more clear imagery it’s impossible to tell exactly how they may different from the GR colorway.

Take a look for yourself at Yuto’s shot included below to see if you can catch any additional details. The Yuto Horigome Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha” proper releases at skate shops on April 3rd and SNKRS on April 5th. Regardless of which channel you pursue, retail is set at $135.
