Andrew Rizzo Is it just us, or does this New Balance 550 bring back memories of a Nike SB banger? Specifically, we’re reminded of the CNCPTS x Nike SB Dunk High “When Pigs Fly” from 2012, a sneaker widely regarded as one of the best CNCPTS collabs ever.
Much like the “When Pigs Fly” Dunk, a pink suede upper does most of the heavy lifting here. The New Balance logos appear in metallic silver, further mirroring the CNCPTS collab, while pre-yellowed treatments land on the laces and midsole. Underfoot, a speckled black outsole rounds out the delivery.
These pink suede New Balance 550s should release soon for $120 in women’s sizing; we’ll update this article as soon as pairs become available online.
