Two eras of running heritage in one.

The Nike Air Max Waffle, A Clash Of Two Eras, Is Back On June 18th

With Nike struggling to concoct fresh new designs, much of its Sportswear offerings have emphasized the foregone years. We’re not talking about re-issues and proper remasters like we’ve seen with the Air Max 95 OG. Instead, the Swoosh has chosen to go back to the hybrid experiments, bridging the gap of two distinct eras into one cohesive unit.

The Air Max Waffle, like many of Nike’s lab creations, was initially met with criticism, only to be embraced upon its arrival on retail shelves. Already launching in the original colorways of both the Waffle Racer and the Air Max Plus, Nike is now cooking fresher colorways for the modern era. This upcoming edition pairs up a Bright Ceramic orange hue with Sail shades on the upper and a Coconut Milk tinted midsole, while the standard black rubber with the Waffle Racer’s signature nubs provides that old school sporting aesthetic.

This old-meets-new hybrid is set to launch on June 18th, 2025 on SNKRS and select retailers on June 18th for $145 (a $5 bump from the previous MSRP).
