The New Balance 2002R Cleans Up In “Shoreline Blue” Suede

Khaki treatments add a contemporary touch.

The New Balance 2002R Cleans Up In “Shoreline Blue” Suede

The arrival of models like the New Balance 2000 and 2010 might mean the 2002R is suddenly lower on the Boston brand’s priority list, but the retro runner still boasts an ample supply. After playing its greatest hit through a “Protection Pack” revival, the model is adding a “Shoreline Blue” colorway to its inline selection.

Shown here via official images, the titular “Shoreline Blue” hue appears on suede overlays. Grey leather underlays make up the next layer, followed by khaki-colored mesh underneath it all. The 2002R generally rotates through several different “N” logos, but sticks to tradition here with reflective metallic silver on both sides. Underfoot, a light khaki midsole and brown outsole round out the delivery.

The New Balance 2002R “Shoreline Blue” is due out Fall 2025 via newbalance.com and retailers, priced at $145. See official images below and browse more upcoming New Balance on our Sneaker Release Dates hub.

Sticking with the Boston brand, check out the Drake’s New Balance Allerdale.
