Is The Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Poison Green” Making A Return?

Bronson Reed may have worn a 2025 version on Monday Night Raw.

Is The Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Poison Green” Making A Return?

It’s been almost a full year since the Nike Air Tech Challenge II returned to shelves, and suffice it to say, Agassi fans have been well fed. Following “Hot Lava,” “Racer Pink,” and “Tart” retros, the Air Tech Challenge II “Pixel” is next up on our release calendar. Looking ahead, last night’s Monday Night Raw may have tipped off what’s further down the pipeline.

WWE superstar Bronson Reed popped out in the Air Tech Challenge II “Poison Green,” last released in 2014. It remains to be seen if this is in fact a new edition for 2025, but we’ll note that Reed’s pair features a more “Sail”-looking midsole in line with the current wave of Air Tech Challenge II retros.

Some context; Bronson Reed is currently involved in a storyline where he’s stealing Roman Reigns’ Jordans – specifically a Spiz’ike Low and Jordan 1 Mid – and wearing them around his neck (a “shoelafala,” if you will). Nike Inc. and the WWE haven’t announced any sort of official partnership, but this whole situation reeks of guerilla marketing. It’s telling that the two stolen Jordans are GRs that could benefit from some air time and not hyped drops that would sell out regardless (like the Nigel Sylvester 4s). That’s to say that if there is in fact a partnership in place, Reed is a more than sensible choice for unveiling an upcoming release.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Poison Green” retro is unconfirmed as of this writing, but we’ll go live with another update as soon as we learn more. For now, enjoy detailed images of the 2014 edition below.
