Andrew Rizzo We’re just a few days out from the release of the Salehe Bembury New Balance 1000 “Fog Be The Cloud”; another important milestone for one the brand’s most viral retro runners. While indeed enjoying a brighter spotlight thanks to the busiest man in sneakers, a steady stream of GRs has kept the 1000 in our headlines ever since it returned in early 2024. Next up for the 1999-born model is yet another “Silver/Black” colorway, but there’s more that meets the eye.
As recently seen on an “Arid Stone” New Balance 1000 among a few other upcoming releases, the model here drops its upper leather panels in favor of netting and TPU detailing. Apart from that key tooling change, the delivery is a familiar one. The tongue, eyelet panels, and joined mudguard/toe/heel portion all appear in silver, while the rest of the sneaker alternates between black and grey. Subtle “Concord” purple accents on the tongue midsole add some intrigue, although hardly distract from the primary color combo.
The New Balance 1000 “Silver/Black/Concord” is expected to release Fall 2025 in unisex sizing, priced at $155. See official images below if these speak to your taste.
