Salehe Bembury Officially Debuts His Second New Balance 1000

At last, a closer look at pair two.

Salehe Bembury Officially Debuts His Second New Balance 1000

It’s an everlasting truth: Salehe Bembury is one of the hardest working in the sneaker game. He’s been firing on all cylinders throughout 2025; building out his patented Crocs Pollex vertical, getting his PUMA catalog underway with the Hali 1 and his own Velum designs, and planting the seeds of his own independent footwear label. On top of all of those endeavors, his work with New Balance remains a priority, now bolstered with the reveal of another Salehe Bembury New Balance 1000.

Arguably one of his most eye-catching this side of the “Heat Be Hot” 1906R, Bembury takes the New Balance 1000 from vibrant pink on the rear overlays to steely blue on the forefoot mesh and leather. Hits of fiery orange overcome the lace loops and misole, while some conservative interplay comes with a shaggy suede panel at the very tip of the shoe and on the tongue. At least from our vantage, this reveal provides some closure; though the “Fog Be The Cloud” blue edition had recieved the usual updates of in-hand looks and official images, there wasn’t much of a whisper on its counterpart, shown when Bembury answered a fan query regarding his “next New Balance” with a shot of these two shoes’ heels.

Salehe Bembury and New Balance haven’t come together for a two-pack since that aforementioned 1906R, so it’s unclear exactly how the partners will handle the release of this scorching edition. The New Balance 1000 “Fog Be The Cloud” remains due out via retailers and NB.com on September 5th — we’ll keep you up to date with the latest on all relevant launch details via this page and our Sneaker Release Dates hub.
