The adidas Fear Of God Athletics II Basketball Softens In “Wonder Oxide” For October 2025

Jerry Lorenzo’s partnership with adidas is approaching its biggest moment in recent memory with the release of the Derrick Rose Fear of God Athletics II later this year — a much-needed shot in the arm for the partnership given relatively low demand from consumers (especially compared to Lorenzo’s work with Nike). However, that’s not all Fear of God Athletics has in store. With basketball season beginning to ramp up, we’ve uncovered a “Wonder Oxide” colorway of the Athletics II set to arrive in mid-October.

The overarching aesthetic stays true to what Lorenzo has built throughout his tenure in the fashion world, with the Athletics II here opting for a simple pastel pink upper composed of mesh and other synthetic materials. The sole unit appears in off-white, complete with ripple tread that radiates outward from the midfoot. It’s worth noting that many Athletics II colorways have wound up on sale — not that Fear of God fans are complaining.

The adidas Fear of God Athletics II “Wonder Oxide” is due out on October 17th, 2025, via Fear of God and adidas channels, priced at $180. See official images below if you’re considering copping.
