Hirofumi Kojima Unveils The atmos x ASICS GEL-NYC “Iceberg”

atmos and ASICS are reprising their partnership with an icy take on the GEL-NYC silhouette, unveiled here by atmos creative head Hirofumi Kojima.

As tipped off in the title, the highlight is a set of custom insoles featuring blue iceberg graphics, showing half of the iceberg submerged and the other half above the surface. The rest of the delivery, meanwhile, strikes a rather familiar note. The key exterior change is a swap to flush synthetic material at the quarter in place of more defined paneling, appearing in grey and metallic silver with deep oceanic blue outlining. Light blue suede overlays pair with metallic silver underlays across the base, while open white mesh rounds out the upper. A dark-to-light blue gradient is applied to the top portion of the midsole, joined by a gradient TPU plate down below.

No release info for the atmos x ASICS GEL-NYC “Iceberg” has been announced as of this writing, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as that changes. For now, enjoy first-look images below.
