Whether it’s the everlasting demand from the silhouette’s original fans or newer ones aiming to get their hands on the high-contrast edition, Nike has clearly awoken once again to the potential of the grey/light green combo once again.
Branching that combination over to the Nike Air Max 90 is only further proof. While the radioactive coloring has draped the AM90 plenty of times before, including in a nod to its own iconic color-blocking scheme, there’s no denying that the smattering of greys and the titular viridescence are aimed at replicating the model’s younger sibling. All things considered, Beaverton designers did well in this application, adding new points of emphasis like the joined dark grey muddguard and eyestays to keep things intriguing while remaining true to the 1995 (and 2025) breakout.
Look for the Nike Air Max 90 “Neon” as a part of the brand’s Spring 2026 slate, expected to command its usual $130 retail price.
