There’s no doubt that the Nike Air Max 95 has been the belle of the ball throughout 2025, but don’t discount Nike’s more low-key efforts to highlight the Nike Air Max 90. On top of a more metered slate of collaborations with the ORegon Ducks, size?, and Patta, mainline spotlights have come in various ways, most visible with a run of “Croc Skin” versions that’ve dotted the newswire.

Another flare-up in that series came as Nike unveiled a fresh edition set to hit SNKRS on December 23rd, but now signals that this is a sustained effort come by way of an adjacent fresh variation. In the broadest of strokes, the AM90 maintains the white mesh foundation and grey suede siding that fans have known for over three decades. That leaves the textured mudguard as the real development, a subtle yet effective way to add refined energy to a shoe’s that been a street icon for so long.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Tattoo” / “Croc Skin” should be hitting Nike.com or SNKRS in the coming weeks, retailing for $155.
