Looking ahead to 2026 Jordans, the three-way collaboration that unites Jordan Brand, Chris Gibbs’ Union Los Angeles, and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design will be among the most sought after sneakers to start the new year. Combining Union’s late 80s and early 90s inspired vintage aesthetic with Fujiwara’s sublime touch that includes the double-bolt logo and specs on the midsole, this Air Jordan 1 release will be unleashed to the world in three iterations–each carrying their own unique limited run.
Although all three pairs of the shoes have been thoroughly leaked not only by its creators, but through the usual early look channels, the Fragment Union Air Jordan 1 has surfaced in an official manner as the cover of Hiroshi’s print magazine Quiet. For its fifth print edition, the three colorways appear scattered on the cover, while a deeper story featuring the two dynamic creators is stored within.

In an interview with Sneaker News in Spring of 2025, Chris Gibbs revealed exactly how this project came about while confirming its release for 2026. Official announcements for the release have yet to be revealed, but with the shoes being relatively limited in nature and the Travis Scott Fragments setting records, we foresee these to be one of the most sought-after sneakers to kick off what is already shaping up to be a monumental year of drops for the Jumpman. Stay tuned for official updates.
