Andrew Rizzo Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are about as tight as any sneaker brand and collaborator can be, with ALD founder Teddy Santis wearing two hats as the Creative Director of New Balance’s Made in USA division. In 2024, that partnership found its way into New Balance Basketball with an Aimé Leon Dore collab on the Hesi Low v2, the preferred model of Cooper Flagg and Tyrese Maxey. Now the Queens-born label is bringing its eye to the Fresh Foam BB v3, teeing up a classy new black style for 2026.
Unveiled on Instagram by ALD’s Julie Valůšková, the sneaker keeps things fairly understated with a black mesh foundation and grey synthetic underlays. The vamp takes on a dark navy blue color, while the heel and New Balance logo introduce complementary splashes of red.
If ALD’s latest New Balance Basketball collection is anything like its last, we should expect one more colorway as well as an assortment of co-branded athletic apparel. The timing of this teaser hints at a potential NBA All-Star Weekend drop, but no official information has come down as of this writing.
