Andrew Rizzo Nike is going Neon-crazy ahead of the wide re-launch of the Air Max 95 “Neon” on March 5th. The Air Max Plus and Air Max 90 have each surfaced in new styles inspired by the 95’s most iconic colorway, offering up accoutrements, or consolation prizes, for next month’s biggest Air Max drop. Up next is another “Neon” Air Max TL 2.5, shown here via official images.
Our regular readers might recall that this model has already toyed with “Neon” during its renewed run, twice, actually. One style emerged in September of last year, and we’re also awaiting an “Iron Grey/Light Liquid Lime” look that’s similarly Neon-adjacent, albeit a bit further removed.
This latest pair goes in a different direction, featuring a white mesh and leather upper with segmented grey accents. A full-length Neon Air unit sits within a black midsole, while black Swooshes are outlined with Neon stitching. The Air Max TL 2.5 originally released in the 2000s and began its first-ever retro run in 2024. It’s largely flown under the radar, though Nike has delivered some solid GRs in recent seasons.
