Bruce Kilgore changed the footwear world forever when he designed the Nike Air Force 1 Low. Now that the silhouette is celebrating its 40th anniversary, it’s an unmovable icon that’s seemingly done it all.
As summers across the globe continue to see rainy days, the Swoosh has prepped the “presidential” model with water-resistant uppers. The latest in a string of tonal offerings featuring protection against wet conditions, the unreleased pair takes on a simple “Sail” and “Black” color scheme. The bulk of the upper is done in a pristine finish that allows for the quilted swooshes on the profiles to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, the traditional sole unit keeps things on theme with an off white makeover that falls in line with the most popular Air Force 1 of all-time.
Enjoy retailer photography of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
