Fourteen Can’t Miss Sneaker News Headlines from January 4th to January 10th

Fourteen Can’t Miss Sneaker News Headlines from January 4th to January 10th

As the first full week of 2020 comes to a close, die-hard and casual sneaker fans alike have been given a lot to look forward to thanks in large part to Nike, Jordan Brand, and adidas. If you’ve just learned about the Air Jordan 1 through Kylie Jenner’s Instagram, the sneaker’s slated-for-February “Varsity Red” release may just appear like a scarlet-version of the shoes, but it’s not. The forthcoming pair is a faithful return to its debut shape and construction from 1985 and even flips the legendary “Banned” color scheme. Further answering long-time pleas, JB is retroing the Air Jordan 6 DMP after keeping it untouched since 2006. Providing a look forward, images of the futuristic Nike Adapt BB 2.0 leaked and suggest that we’re getting closer to the laceless future once depicted in Back To The Future II. Before we get to enjoy the technology that impressed Marty McFly, we’ll be getting more compelling options from the Swoosh’s skateboarding division, as well as reimagined classics like CLOT‘s “Rose Gold Silk” take on the Air Force 1 Low. On the Three Stripes side of things, images (official and unofficial) of more Yeezy footwear have surfaced with the yet-to-hit-retail 700 MNVN appearing in neutral tones ahead of its rumored February launch. But perhaps the biggest adidas headline of the week – at least among the masses – is the unveiling of Beyonce‘s IVY PARK line with the German brand which adds the Ultra Boost and Nite Jogger to the inaugural drop already featuring a Samba and apparel. For all that and much more, check out our top fourteen headlines from January 4th to January 10th here ahead.
