As they head into the second-half of 2020, NIKE, Inc., adidas, New Balance, and Reebok all have made sneaker enthusiasts eager for the remainder of the year via official and unofficial looks at what they’ve been working on.
Under The Swoosh umbrella, Nike ISPA unveiled its newest footwear and apparel proposals rooted in a commitment to Improvise, Scavenge, Protect and Adapt. Elsewhere, the entire Nike Space Hippie line emerged in a secondary grey and “Volt” option ahead of its stateside launch. While now in its 38th year on the market, the Air Force 1 emerged in a slew of new, impressive arrangements, just as a couple of Air Max silhouettes.
On the Jumpman side of campus, NIKE, Inc. shared the 12-pair Jordan Brand Fall 2020 Collection. Although the beloved Air Jordan 1 leads the range with four iterations, less-heralded silhouettes like the Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14 have made some former naysayers considering other double-digit Jordans. Official images of the Jordan 11 Low IE Black Cement, first teased back in December 2019, also emerged.
Away from the 56-year-old sportswear behemoth, Massachusetts-based companies New Balance and Reebok shared unofficial looks at a handful of their projects for the remainder of 2020. The former’s included a Japan-specific New Balance 1700 and New Balance 1300, while the latter’s tapped both Vetements and Kanghyuk for fashion-forward proposals. Similarly, The Three Stripes, Human Made, and Jonah Hill reinterpreted the Rivalry Lo and Samba.
