Kawhi Leonard was recently crowned by Sneaker News as the NBA Feet Rookie of the Year, as he spent the entire season with the Spurs honing his craft at the direction of some of the best of our generation while keeping things stylish on his feet. He has consistently foregone the basic team-based shoe and opted for snazzier Black/White/Grey kicks like the Air Jordan XIV ‘Light Graphite’ and the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP, and he certainly helped the Spurs sweep the Jazz last night while wearing the Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’. However impressive that may be, that NBA Feet crown of the night doesn’t go to him, as 2011 NBA Feet MVP and All-NBA Feet First Team 2012 member Gilbert Arenas wore the Air Jordan IV ‘Lightning’ (despite getting just five minutes of PT).
