What’s more patriotic than sporting something American made? New Balance teams up with J.Crew for a new take on the 998 – a Made in USA model in a red, white, and blue colorway. Inspired by American craftsmanship, an ideology mastered by both parties involved, the J.Crew x New Balance 998 “Independence Day” features a masterful use of supple materials with perfect color-blocking to represent the historic holiday. A select number of the shoes will release on June 14th at three locations – the Liquor Store in NYC, The Grove in LA, and at On Lan in Hong Kong, with the first twenty customers at each location receiving a limited Ebbets Field Flannel Hat. A wider release will go down on June 18th in NYC, Boston, LA, Costa Mesa, SF, Honolulu, London, Hong Kong, and at jcrewmens.com.
