Today, Jordan Brand will open up the Pearl Pavilion experience space located across the street of Madison Square Garden. Before the space opens up today at 5 PM EST, Sneaker News got an advanced look at what the brand has constructed as a celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the brand. On the ground level is a retail store that will offer up some exclusive footwear apparel, but the true experience begins when you climb aboard the elephant-print escalators. You’ll be guided through a museum-like display of iconic Air Jordans and the history behind each shoe, but to truly experience the life of MJ, you need to step into his shoes. You’ll have the opportunity to recreate some iconic on-court moments from Michael’s career as well as from the current Jordan Brand athlete roster while trying out the latest performance gear.
