James Whitner Of Social Status Reveals This True Origin Of The Upcoming adidas Ultra BOOST

Update: The adidas Ultra Boost Lux releases on December 15th, 2017 for $200 at Sneakersnstuff, followed by December 20th, 2017 for $200 at select retailers like Overkill.

By now you’ve seen images of this adidas Ultra BOOST from the Consortium range, but as it turns out, there’s a bit of backstory to one of the most luxurious iterations of this running shoe we’ve ever seen. James Whitner of Social Status reveals that this impressive design was actually an early sample from the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange with European retail giant Sneakersnstuff. The shoes were obviously scrapped in favor of the white/black colorway, but these were too good not to let out to the public. That said, look out for this “bonus track” release of the adidas Consortium Ultra Boost by Social Status and SNS to hit select retailers on December 20th.
