A$AP Rocky Reveals His Under Armour Shoe On Instagram

Since announcing a partnership with Under Armour in 2017, A$AP Rocky has had the sneaker world buzzing with anticipation about what his joining forces with the Baltimore-based brand would entail. Now, more than a year later, we’re finally starting to find out what Rocky and UA are up to as the rapper recently took to Instagram to provide us with the best look yet at his new signature silhouette. First spotted last month and aptly compared to the Osiris D3 skate shoe, the new silhouette is done up in a blacked-out colorway and offers a chunky, padded look in line with the current trend of oversized footwear. A wild and abstract midfoot cage appears dressed in reflective material, and the shoe’s maximalist aesthetic is rounded off with a chunky sole.

Neither Rocky nor Under Armour has announced a release date or pricing information for the Harlem-born rapper’s first true signature sneaker, but keep it locked here for updates on the joint effort between Pretty Flacko and UA as they become available. For more Under Armour news be sure to check out their recently-launched “STEPH-IQ” trivia game, where you can compete for UA store credit and free shoes throughout the Playoffs.
