Ben Felderstein In 2018, adidas has dramatically increased its emphasis on its soccer lifestyle division by way of three new and refreshing silhouettes, the Kamanda, the Prophere, and the Sobakov. With all three models boasting wildly boisterous sole units, they fit in with both today’s chunky sneaker trend as well as the brand’s vintage lifestyle aesthetic. With a collaborative effort from Bodega on two of the three models having just surfaced, it is now Neighborhood’s turn to lend their stylistic efforts to the eye-catching Kamanda.
With the Japanese boutique’s branding taking center stage, Neighborhood comes noticeably written across the upper of both the black and the brown pair in old english typeface. Utilizing a primarily suede construction, that aforementioned lettering adds another slightly luxurious touch by coming adorned in leather, to match this silhouette’s “NBHD”-branded heel. No official release information for the Neighborhood x adidas Kamanda collection has surfaced, but peep a first look below and stay tuned for updates.
