The Air Jordan 14 Gets Completely Transformed Into A Brand New Model

The Air Jordan 14 Gets Completely Transformed Into A Brand New Model

2018 has been a year full of alternate takes on classic silhouettes from Jordan Brand. First the Air Jordan 3 was given a Swoosh-ed makeover on the “Tinker” and “JTH” iterations. Then, the Air Jordan 13 was reimagined as the Jordan Black Cat. Now, the Air Jordan 14 is the next shoe to be remodeled, as a new silhouette entitled the Jordan Jumpman Z — that draws heavily upon the 14’s DNA — has surfaced. The shoe features a military-style olive green base complete with bold infrared accents on the zipper and collar for a look that’s durable and definitive. Although the agressively-toothed midsole and 3/4 cut of the AJ14 remain intact, the Jumpman Z forgoes the original lacing system for a midfoot shroud with asymmetrical zippers. Gone also are the 14’s normal ridged quarter panel and mesh tongue, in favor of a smooth suede and wrapped neoprene. If you’re a fan of this alternate take on the shoe MJ won his last ring in, they’re available now at Shoe Palace for $160 USD.
