In what is a sign for what’s to come, the Beaverton brand has revamped the Blazer City Low XS, forgoing its overstated tooling for something much more minimal. With the base being transformed from the original silhouette — adding in a bit of intricacy to the forefoot with a set of layered paneling — the entire profile is updated to fit the more aggressive designs found commonly today. Though equally recognizable to the undiscerning eye, the current addition shies away from the overbranding motif, showcasing a heavily toned down profile with a mini swoosh in place of the model’s usual oversized logo. Though a Triple Black palette, the model maintains visual separation with a matte upper contrasted by a glossy midsole finish. At a price point of $110 USD, expect these to hit Nike.com and select retailers come January 16th.
