30 years have passed since the New Balance 577 first arrived to market and 20 years have gone by since Sneakersnstuff opened their first set of doors in Stockholm, Sweden, so now the two powerful entities are joining forces for a homage-filled take on the ever-popular running turned lifestyle silhouette. Centered around a “The Kids Have Grown Up” tagline, the collection salutes 20 years of business and the “kids” — long-term SNS employees — who have grown up at the stores in Stockholm, Paris, London, and New York. Equally at home on the feet of sneakerheads young and old, these new made-in-the-UK 577s feature all the premium quality and attention to detail you’ve come to expect from both NB and SNS. The tan upper is composed of soft pigskin suede, while accents are provided by a navy N with reflective trim on the quarter, a navy suede heel piece, and a white leather tongue, the latter duo of which are both equipped with vibrant pink text hits. More reflective detailing arrives at the top of the toebox, while the combo of a grey TPU heel stabilizer and a two-tone ENCAP midsole promise still-substantial comfort and support. These history-filled New Balances will release exclusively on the SNS webstore and at all retail locations for $160 USD come August 24th. A limited-edition T-shirt will also accompany in-store purchases on a first come, first serve basis.
