First Look At The Converse G4 Low

First Look At The Converse G4 Low

Announced alongside Draymond Green‘s signing, the Converse G4 expands the brand’s basketball-ready propositions. But unlike the All Star Pro BB, The One Star Brand’s latest silhouette isn’t rooted in the Chuck Taylor‘s heritage design.

Set to launch in both low and high trims, the G4 combines Nike React and Air Zoom cushioning with lightweight, but durable textile/synthetic uppers to meet the dynamic needs of players like Green. Of the model’s two heights, the low-top’s debut colorway highlights the G4’s construction. White mesh sets the stage for an assortment of infrared, blue, neon green and orange accents; the former two most prominent from midfoot to forefoot, while the remaining divergent hues animate the heel area by taking over collar lining and rear structures. Underneath, Phylon midsoles proffer a classic black and white arrangement perfect for future multi-color stylings of Converse’s newest basketball sneaker. By contrast, the taller G4 resembles The Swoosh’s upcoming Zoom BB NXT with its debut black/high-vis yellow colorway.

Grab an exclusive look at the low-top G4 here below while you wait for the model’s official launch on Converse.com in the coming months.

Elsewhere in the world of basketball footwear, the auto-lacing Adapt BB 2.0 has recently emerged in a funky “Tie-Dye” ensemble.

UPDATE (04/27/2020):
