Jovani Hernandez Continuing their run of impressive collaborations, adidas Skateboarding and Palace have recently unveiled Lucas Puig’s third signature model: the PUIG.
A visual departure from the Frenchman’s Lucas Puig Pro (2012) and Lucas Premiere ADV (2016), the newest silhouette keeps performance top-of-mind. Uppers on the PUIG, which launches in tonal “Core Black,” “Chalk White” and “Super Pop” color schemes, are constructed from premium leather. Akin to Mark Gonzales’ Aloha Super, the PUIG boasts reinforcement at the toe, specifically adituff. Elsewhere, Puig’s newest model features a pearlized, molded tongue, rope laces and “Metallic Gold” accents throughout the midfoot and tongue, all sitting atop a semi-translucent sole unit. As this pair is meant to be skated in, an adiPRENE sockliner completes each pair in either a “Blue,” “Red” or “Cloud White” adidas and Palace co-branded arrangement.
adidas Skateboarding’s Palace PUIG arrives to adidas.com on May 22nd with a price tag of $140 USD. In the meantime, enjoy official images of all three launch colorways here below.
