As part of its 30th Anniversary, the Nike Air Max 90 has donned dozens of ensembles – from bold to subtle. For its latest, the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette is receiving a vibrant “Volt” and “Crimson” accented outfit as part of the Nike N7 Fund’s 2020 Collection.
At a glance, the pair’s multi-color, mixed-material arrangement doesn’t seem too different from previous Air Max 90 releases. Uppers feature off-grey suede and mesh interrupted by fluorescent TPU accents and profile Swooshes. Additionally, dark grey mudguards reveal more color with wear, enabling one-of-a-kind looks. “N7” branding on the tongue and sockliner the pair’s involvement in the Nike N7 Fund’s commitment to Native American and Aboriginal youth: Since 2009, the N7 Fund has awarded more than $7.5 million in grants to 259 communities and organizations actively working towards achieving a healthier, happier, and more successful life for them. While it’s still uncertain whether or not this Nike Air Max option will be accompanied by a Nike Air Force 1 or other Nike Sportswear silhouettes, what’s certain is that N7 constantly has the seventh generation in mind.
Full release details are still unknown, but this Air Max 90 N7 is likely to launch on Nike.com in the coming weeks. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair here below.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, Converse has teamed up with Amsterdam-based Pop Trading Company on a Jack Purcell duo.
