This Women’s Nike Air Max 97 Mixes “Metallic Silver” With Sporty Accents

While not in the midst of a milestone anniversary, the Nike Air Max 97 has emerged in dozens of impressive arrangements throughout 2020. The latest iteration mixes the model’s inaugural “Metallic Silver” hue with two sporty accents: “Flash Crimson” and “Racer Blue”.

Extended mudguards and mesh underlays on this Air Max silhouette boast a simple “White” color scheme. Vamp overlays, along with detailing on the tongue, largely indulge in the Air Max 97‘s design muse – the Japanese bullet train. The bottom-most swath, however, interrupts the greyscale palette with its eye-catching “Flash Crimson” makeup. Elsewhere, Swoosh and “airmax” branding throughout the women’s pair help create a sporty ensemble with their “Racer Blue” palette, a hue that appeared on the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom back in March. Underfoot, sole units partake in a “yin-and-yang” arrangement that’s only interrupted by the rich blue logo hit on the outsole.
