A New Prada x adidas Sneaker Collaboration Is Revealed

A New Prada x adidas Sneaker Collaboration Is Revealed

Prada and adidas have yet to follow-up their divisive Superstar-and-bag bundle from December 2019, but they’re making up for delays of their next shell-toe trio with an ostensibly new silhouette.

Visually reminiscent of The Three Stripes’ Kamanda and Italian fashion house’s America’s Cup sneaker, the unnamed model features a predominantly white color scheme. Mixed synthetic and textile construction indulges in various degrees of opacity, creating a much more futuristic arrangement than the two brands’ first joint-effort. Sole units boast a milky finish à la Yeezy Quantum, revealing perforations throughout the sockliner visible from underfoot. As with the storied luxury brand’s sailing-inspired sneaker, the forthcoming collaborative pair dons a “PRADA”-branded red line (“Linea Rossa” in Italian) from heel to outsole. Elsewhere, red co-branding on the insole further interrupts the sneaker’s rather tonal makeup.

Full details are still unknown about Prada and adidas’ next release, but that’ll likely change as the holiday season approaches. In the meantime, enjoy a first-look at the new pair ahead.
