END Reveals Their Upcoming Avian-Inspired New Balance 1500 “Grey Heron” Collaboration

In 2020 thus far, streetwear retailer END has embarked on multiple collaborative journeys within the world of sneakers through projects with the likes of Reebok and adidas. And to cap off the month of August, the British imprint is stringing along a new footwear project, this time however, as a continuation of their avian-inspired series with New Balance.

Following up their New Balance 878 “Grey Gull” initiative from last year, the two parties are now putting their touch on the New Balance 1500 to portray an aesthetic that embodies that of the Grey heron. Visually, this Made-in-England rendition is crafted with an upper that leans mostly on neutral white/grey nubuck paneling and muted blue ankle collars to translate the plumage of the coastal bird, as well as accents of bright orange and yellow across the tongues, branded hits, and outsoles to represent its beak. Furthermore, you’ll find split-branded outsoles printed with literal feather backgrounds to effectively further stress its motif. Peep a closer look here, and find these dropping on August 21st exclusively at END for a retail tag of $180.

For other sneaker news, the New Balance KAWHI 4 Bounces has been revealed.
