Jasmine Tang During the five years Damian Lillard has signed with adidas, the basketball player has already built quite a legacy. Now on his seventh signature sneaker, the Dame 7 has been seen in various inventive arrangements, including a Ric Flair-inspired pair and the I Am My Own Fan Dame 7 capsule. Now, it arrives in more subdued colorway as a sweet treat for the new year.
The “Cream White” synthetic uppers are juxtaposed by bright orange hits of orange that are used sparingly. “Solar Red” is most noticeable on the midsole’s lateral heel, where the message “BE YOUR OWN FAN” is printed. More orange is visible on the tongue’s branding, around the laces, and on the heel. Returning to its neutral start, a tan Lightstrike midsole finishes off the model for a clean look with just the right amount of vibrancy.
The Dame 7 will be available at adidas.com on January 1 for $110.
