Jovani Hernandez adidas‘ 2020 roster of collaborators included giants the likes of Prada. And while it’s uncertain whether or not the Italian fashion house will produce 3-stripes-branded gear in 2021, one thing has already been solidified: the AriZona beverage company has recently worked on a couple of Superstars.
A continuation of the pandemonium-causing pop-up effort from 2019, the latest shell-toe arrives with a predominantly-teal upper laden with the iced tea manufacturer’s iconic cherry blossoms (embroidered). Three additional sets of laces accompany the pair, but “Chalk White” options arrive by default. Unlike standard iterations of the classic sneaker, the forthcoming collaboration features pull tabs at the heel. At a glance, sole units opt for a simple, seemingly “aged” aesthetic, but outsoles reveal a translucent finish that delivers a message from the AriZona: “Have An Iced Day.”
