HER Studio London Applies Tropical Florals To The adidas NMD R1

Specializing in fun florals and bold colors, HER Studio London has given life to a handful of stylish women’s activewear and swim pieces, even scoring a collaboration with adidas last year. Following a white floral-accented collaborative NMD R1, the women-led print design studio has teamed up with the Three Stripes again to release a black iteration.

The pair sports plush black textile uppers that are offset by intricate prints and vivid shades. The side stripes see a cool-toned tropical floral pattern that also uses hits of cheetah print and red. This same design is used on the rubber heel tab, although it is blurred. Extracting colors used in the prints, Acid Mint is applied to the signature NMD midsole plug while the heel pull tab is in a true red shade. Gold foil is applied to the branding on the pull tab and tongue label to complete the women’s-exclusive design.

The NMD R1 will drop on February 1st at adidas.com for $140.

For more flowery fun, check out the Melting Sadness Superstar also releasing in February, which features chenile and felt patches.
