Nike Brings Back Another Air Max 90 Icon With “Hot Lime”

An OG colorway released a year off in 1991, the Air Max 90 “Hot Lime” is set to makes its way back this year in true-to-original fashion.

Brought back only to the EU markets in 2003 and 2008, the pair is finally making a broader, international debut. Similar to adjacent OGs, the mudguard contrasts the rest of the construction in swathes of black. The tread follows suit as does the tongue label, while the base opts for white neutrals across its mesh and leather paneling. Then, atop the “Nike” branding at the tongue as well as the Swoosh along the side, the titular “Hot Lime” comes into play, dressing in parallel to greyed eyestay, profile, and midsole molds.

For years, the Hot Limes were regarded as one of the best Air Max 90s ever. Pairs were scarce due to its aforementioned scarcity, and much like the recently reissued Air Max 90 “Spruce Lime”, these may have sat in the vault for a little too long.
