Jovani Hernandez Jaden Smith’s New Balance Vision Racer has quietly garnered a lot of support among savvy fashion consumers for its envelop-pushing design. For its next proposition, the chunky silhouette has indulged in a muted “Natural” colorway accompanied by speckled fleece material.
Fabric construction all-throughout the pair’s upper boasts a greyscale arrangement. Bases sport a heather grey-reminiscent look, while their canvas overlays deviate not only in a lighter shade, but also with a multi-color speckling that makes its way onto the segmented midsole. Akin to other propositions under in the New Balance roster, profile “N” logos and “NB” branding on the heel opt into a black aesthetic that allows or surrounding details to revel in the spotlight. Lastly, Smith adds new text to the translucent outsole: “[DO YOU SEE IT YET?]” instead of the typical “(VISION RACER)”. Additionally, the latest offering from Mr. Smith’s mind introduces some of the Boston-based brand’s sustainability efforts. Case in point: 5% recycled EVA foam and Spinnex paneling.
A stateside release is likely in the works, but currently this Vision Racer is only listed at retailers across Europe as launching on April 21st. In any case, enjoy imagery of the shoes ahead.
