Michael Le With their latest collaboration with New Balance, Size? is looking to their golden years, drawing inspiration from academia to color not one but two different footwear offerings.
The first, the 550, keeps its classic court look intact, here dressed primarily in white and grey as usual. Pops of orange — the retailer’s signature color — then arrive atop the branding, lining, and detailing adjacent, while cream laces and midsoles add on a vintage element. Opposite, the 574 echoes that retro feel similarly, adding the same yellowed finish underfoot a base more expressive in its use of warm tones. What’s more, the capsule is complemented by a wealth of apparel, each piece influenced by the varsity gear prolific through the past generations.
