Jasmine Tang In recent years, the Nike Air Max 97 has been gradually making its way into the mainstream and has now become a popular lifestyle choice amongst the general public. Despite its signature wavy overlays composing most of its appeal, an upcoming AM 97 is giving the design a slight twist by exhibiting a woven look.
This Air Max 97 LX boasts a premium look and feel by indulging in a full-suede build in pastel pink. A portion of this women’s exclusive’s layered overlays has been replaced by braided details that wrap around the entirety of the model. Although a strand of white ribbon appears to be woven into the pattern, gaps in between the links create small “windows” for a cut-out, see-through effect. The tonal pink look is rounded out with a white midsole that houses the AM 97’s iconic full-length Air unit.
