The Nike Athletic Club Collection Injects Vintage Styling To The Air Force 1 Low

The Nike Athletic Club Collection Injects Vintage Styling To The Air Force 1 Low

Since 1983, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has accomplished a lot. From popularizing new technology to partnering with unlikely collaborators for game-changing product, Bruce Kilgore’s design has secured its spot in the history books. For its latest proposition, the low-top silhouette has appeared in a medley of greys as part of the Nike Athletic Club collection.

With a mix of materials and finishing across its upper, the newly-surfaced pair opts for a muted color palette that makes a statement with its disparate components. The greyscale ensemble works in-tandem with the off-white midsole to create an “aged” aesthetic that falls in-line with sportswear from yesteryear’s athletic club-goers. Branding on the tongue label and sock-liner also indulge in an old-school typeface; the capsule’s name also appears on the upper heel of the Air Force 1. Lastly, the shoes arrive with an off-white and gold pendant.

Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch before 2021 ends.
