Heather “Iron Ore” Appears On The Air Jordan 1 Low

Despite an ever-growing demand for the Air Jordan 1 Low to return to original form and styles, the lifestyle-oriented silhouette continues to experiment, having recently appeared in an “Iron Ore” mix.

Akin to a previously-seen mid-top iteration of Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker, the upcoming shoes indulge in a greyscale arrangement across its leather and textile upper. Overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel boast a soft leather, solid grey makeup, while underlays in these exact areas (plus the tongue) opt for a heather patterned, woven cotton. The stylish design choice isn’t new for the Air Jordan 1 line, though its pairing with faint pink laces is a novel decision on behalf of the NIKE, Inc. team. No collection-specific branding appears on initial images of the low-top shoes, but it’s possible Jordan Brand has prepped other models in its roster with similar “Iron Grey” finishes and light rose flair as part of its spring or summer offerings.

Continue ahead for an early look at the upcoming retro (courtesy of Anh Pham, also known as @pvasneakers on Instagram), and expect official Nike.com launch details to be disclosed by the brand as springtime inches closer.

Elsewhere under the Team Jumpman umbrella, the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” is expected to arrive on March 5th.
