Original “Shadow” Colors Are Rearranged On This Women’s Air Jordan 1 Mid

Despite its penchant for experimentation, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has consistently revisited original colorways of Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker throughout the years. Most recently, the silhouette has appeared with “Shadow”-reminiscent black and grey via a women’s-exclusive style.

The majority of the synthetic leather that covers the pair’s upper indulges in a pitch-dark tone, quickly differentiating the offering from one of the most iconic debut options of the Air Jordan 1 from 1985. Varying shades of grey, then, enter the mix at the toe box, profile swooshes and ankle underlays, while branding on the top of the tongue and lateral ankle flap also sport greyscale “flair.” Underfoot, the Nike Dunk-like sole unit keeps things simple in a white and grey color combination, with the latter hue taking over the traction, further creating degrees of separation between the O.G. “Shadow” style and the latest black and grey retro.

Enjoy official images of the shoes here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
