Michael Le Amidst rumors of a New Balance 550 — ones he mischievously started — Joe Freshgoods couldn’t help but laugh, as it’s actually a 9060 collaboration that the designer has in store for us later this year.
A first look at the shoe comes from Mr. Freshgoods himself, posted to IG earlier this afternoon. Relative to his past collaborations, the 9060 seems more closely related to the “Outside Clothes” 990v3, as it also employs a colorful, Spring-ready appearance. From the available back shot, hits of a muted pink can be seen on the mesh collar, while a light green complements across the heel. In between, “JFG” branding marks the heel tab just above an embroidered display of the shoe’s “Inside Voices” theme.

Updated May 7th, 2022: Joe Freshgoods reveals a second colorway of his New Balance 9060 collaboration. They are dubbed “Penny Cookie Pink”, a nod to a Chicago treat, and “Baby Shower Blue”. The blue is presumably exclusive to the Joefreshgoods online shop. A release date has not been disclosed.
Updated April 27th, 2022: Joe Freshgoods reveals that his New Balance 9060 collaboration will release in “two weeks”, which as of this update is May 11th.
