Michael Le Throughout his career, Bill Murray has starred in no shortage of beloved films, from Ghostbusters to Lost in Translation, many of which are still relevant today. And though much from his filmography are classics in their own right, Groundhog Day may be the actor’s most iconic credit, as it’s brought about many an homage as well as its very own adidas Supernova Cushion 7.
Here, adidas turns the clock back much more than a single day, drawing design cues from an early 2000s runner for the silhouette’s upper. The colorway, then, begins to build the connection to the film with a number of earth tones, which ostensibly mirror the mood of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Moreover, you’ll also find a groundhog’s face printed onto each heel as well as the box, both of which depict the animal with two different expressions.
