Currently in its 28th year on the market, the Nike Air Max 95 continues to be sought out by old and new sneaker fans alike. Recently, the beloved design emerged as part of the brand’s Next Nature initiative in a “Stadium Green” makeover.
The bulk of the pair is built to resemble the silhouette’s original grey and black color scheme, but closer inspection reveals significant differences. For starters, the unreleased take on Sergio Lozano’s creation features synthetic leather panels throughout the upper, not suede. Porous netting, however, appears around the tongue, revealing “Stadium Green” lace loops in the process. Branding hits across the Air Max‘s top-half also follow suit, as does the visible Air bubble underfoot. The remainder of the midsole and outsole keep things simple in a pitch-dark finish, allowing for the titular green hue to revel in the spotlight. As denoted by the Next Nature logo on the sockliner, the AM95 consists of at least 20% recycled materials, contributing to the Swoosh’s sustainability efforts without sacrificing style.
