Jovani Hernandez Despite the biggest players in the sneaker space launching new product week after week, some of the biggest stories of the week pertained to rumored releases of the next year.
The biggest culprit was NIKE, Inc. with rumors of both the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” and Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” returning as part of the company’s lineup for 2024. While gargantuan in their cultural importance, both basketball sneakers weren’t the only two rumored releases to send social media into a frenzy.
At Team Three Stripes, Jerry Lorenzo finally unveiled the inaugural footwear project between Fear of God and adidas. Lorenzo hasn’t shared many specifics about the silhouette, but the unnamed shoe bears semblance to past work from the American designer. Pusha T had some time in between his Coachella performances to perform at the Hollywood Bowl. Instead of rocking his unreleased adidas Supernova Cushion 7 “Thorn,” however, the rapper rocked Lorenzo’s official basketball sneaker for the Three Stripes.
