Nike Adds A Soft Pink To The Air Max 90 “Athletic Dept.” Series

Nike Adds A Soft Pink To The Air Max 90 “Athletic Dept.” Series

The Swooshes Air Max cushioned silhouettes have enjoyed a rapid start to 2023, headlined by the Air Max 1 ’86 OG’s return to the “Big Bubble” and reinforced through a myriad of general release collections tapping the Max Air-infused propositions. Most recently, the Nike Air Max 90 was tapped for an addition to the Beaverton brand’s “Athletic Dept.” Series.

A stark tonal departure from its Dunk Low and AF-1 counterparts, the Tinker Hatfield design does enjoy the same greyscale suede paneling that touched down on the recently previewed Air Max 1. Elsewhere, the silhouette’s mesh base layer enjoys a calm “Sail” neutral while bright white and “Off-White” hues surround the smooth leather overlays of the forefoot. Injected with summer-ready flavor, the ridged quarter panel, heel counter and midsole wrapping the Air bubble underfoot come dipped in a lively bubblegum pink treatment.

While release date information has yet to be shared, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the Nike Air Max 90 “Athletic  Dept./Soft Pink” below.

In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. banner, Nike’s EYBL page recently previewed the player-exclusive Nike LeBron 20 for the brand’s spring/summer circuit.
