Jared Ebanks Since 2022 Nike has reconfigured its most iconic Max Air cushioned silhouettes with exaggerated overlays and an easily distinct design. Between the Air Max 90 and Air Max 97, the latter has found much fanfare amidst the brand’s prototypical lifestyle releases. Recently, the latter silhouette amplified its perceptible appearance with “Metallic Silver” accents.
Alongside its matching Air Force 1, the upcoming angelic ensemble could hold the weight of introducing the Beaverton brand’s latest inline collection. As such, pristine white hues dominate the upper with a feverishness, composing everything from the tongue construction and upper mesh to the iconic sole unit in clad colorless shades – save the murky icy blue TPU eye stays. Elsewhere, a note of premium aesthetics is injected via a “Metallic Silver” finish that treats the tongue and heel tabs in a heavily cracked appearance. What’s more, the profile swooshes are illuminated via the appearance of bedazzled rhinestones, bringing a reflective close to the two-toned proposition.
